EPL: Injured Muani may return for Tottenham, Arsenal derby clash

Tottenham Hotspur have received a potential surprise boost ahead of the North London derby, with one of their key players possibly returning sooner than anticipated, according to reports from The Spurs Web.

The Lilywhites are currently dealing with a mounting injury list, and the situation worsened recently when Pape Sarr sustained an injury while representing Senegal, leaving fans anxious about his availability for Sunday’s clash.

Amid the concerns, Tottenham may have been handed some positive news.

Randal Kolo Muani, who was expected to be sidelined for an extended period after fracturing his jaw in the defeat to Manchester United two weeks ago, could make an unexpectedly early return.

According to The Telegraph, Muani has been training at Hotspur Way in a specially designed protective mask to safeguard his jaw.

Initial medical checks revealed that surgery would not be necessary, a development seen as a significant boost for Spurs.

While it remains unclear whether the forward will be fit enough to feature against Arsenal with the protective mask, his involvement in training raises hopes that he may yet feature in the North London derby.
