NAF reassigns 25 senior officers to strengthen command structure

The Nigerian Air Force has approved the redeployment of 25 senior officers to new command and staff roles, in what authorities describe as a strategic move to boost operational efficiency and align the service with the leadership priorities of the new Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke.

The reshuffle was announced on Friday in a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.

He said the postings were aimed at improving coordination across commands and enhancing the military’s response to emerging security threats.

“This redeployment is designed to improve decision-making processes, strengthen synergy within units and commands, and reinforce overall operational readiness,” Ejodame stated.
