President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the broadcast will go live at 7 a.m.
“All television, radio stations, and other electronic media platforms are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the President’s address,” the statement read.
Onanuga noted that the President’s message will reflect on Nigeria’s democratic journey and future aspirations as the country celebrates over six decades of nationhood.
