Bayern Munich forward, Harry Kane, has shrugged off suggestions that the Bundesliga title race is predictable and dull.
The Bavarians have dominated the league over the past decade, winning nine of the last ten championships, with Bayer Leverkusen ending their streak in the 2023/24 campaign.
That dominance has fueled criticism that Germany’s top flight lacks excitement, as Bayern are often tipped to reclaim the crown.
However, speaking after Bayern’s most recent fixture, the England captain insisted that the competition is far from lifeless, even if his side are setting the standard in the early stages.
“I don’t think it will be boring. And if it is, that’s a compliment to us. Two years ago, people didn’t say that either, when we didn’t win the league.
“There’s Dortmund, Leverkusen, Frankfurt, they’ll challenge us. It’s good to be at the top, I hope we can keep our foot on the gas!”
