Nobody influenced my Wolves move – Arokodare

Super Eagles forward, Tolu Arokodare, has revealed that his move to Wolverhampton Wanderers was entirely his own decision and not influenced by anyone.

The 24-year-old sealed a four-year deal with the Premier League side after leaving Belgian outfit Genk this summer.

In an interview with Sports Witness, the Nigerian international explained that the chance to fulfill his long-held dream of playing in England’s top flight made the decision an easy one.

“When Wolverhampton became concrete, I didn’t hesitate for a second. No one had to convince me. Everyone also knew I absolutely wanted to go to the Premier League.

“There might have been other rumours [AC Milan and Napoli], but in my head, I only wanted one thing.

“The Wolverhampton shirt already fits me like a glove. [Wolves are known for] using their strikers well. I’ll benefit from that.”
