Super Eagles defender, Jamilu Collins, has officially parted ways with Cardiff City, following the release of the club’s retained list on Thursday.
The 30-year-old defender was notably absent from the lineup, signaling the end of his three-year stint with the Welsh side.
Collins’ 2024/25 season was marred by a pre-season injury that significantly limited his time on the pitch.
As a result, the left-back featured in only three league matches for the Bluebirds during the campaign.
The Nigerian defender initially joined Cardiff City in May 2022 on a free transfer after leaving SC Paderborn of Germany.
Over his time in Wales, Collins accumulated a total of 44 appearances, contributing one goal and four assists.
