Why Hojlund has changed since Man Utd departure – Eriksen

Former Manchester United midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has said his Denmark teammate Rasmus Hojlund has rediscovered his scoring touch since swapping Old Trafford for Napoli.

The young striker has made an impressive start to life in Italy, netting twice in his first four Serie A outings as the reigning champions sit comfortably atop the table.

The 22-year-old, who signed for United two years ago in a £72 million deal, has also bagged a brace in the Champions League, both goals coming in Napoli’s 2-1 victory over Sporting.

In an interview with TribalFootball, Eriksen noted that Hojlund’s renewed form stems from his confidence and contentment in Naples.

“He is a man with self-confidence, and he is in the right place so that he can also score the easy goals.

“It is good for the national team that we have got him going, and I am really happy for him. You can see from him that he is in a good period. He looks happy, and the balls are falling in the right places and at the right times.”
