Falconets head coach, Moses Aduku, has released a 35-player roster ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying clash with Rwanda next month.

The squad comprises four goalkeepers, 11 defenders, nine midfielders, and 11 forwards, blending fresh talents with experienced names from the side that reached the Round of 16 at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

Among the returning players are team captain and defender, Oluchi Ohaegbulem, midfielder, Joy Igbokwe, as well as strikers Mary Lucky Mkpa and Goodness Osigwe.

The Falconets will open camp in Abuja on Sunday, 10th August, with training kicking off the following day.

Rwanda will host the first leg of the second-round tie in Kigali on Sunday, 21st September, before the reverse fixture takes place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, on Saturday, 27th September.

The winners over two legs will edge closer to securing a spot at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals, scheduled to be held in Poland next year.
