Former England international and football pundit Gary Lineker has tipped Paris Saint-Germain to emerge victorious over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final scheduled for Saturday.
The highly anticipated clash is set to take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with kick-off slated for 8 p.m. local time.
Both PSG and Inter Milan earned their spots in the final after knocking out top contenders in the semi-finals, Arsenal and Barcelona, respectively.
Sharing his thoughts on the outcome, Lineker predicted a 2-0 win for the reigning French Ligue 1 champions over their Italian rivals.
“I’m going 2-0 PSG. I think it is their turn, I have kept saying it,” Lineker said during an episode of The Rest is Football podcast.
“It’s why I tipped Crystal Palace [to win the FA Cup final against Manchester City] and after what happened with Newcastle, and Tottenham winning any kind of trophy for the first time in 17 years, I have a feeling it’s that kind of season.”
While PSG are still in search of their first Champions League crown, Inter Milan boast three European titles in their storied history.
