U-20 AFCON: Harcourt, Okoro to miss Flying Eagles, Egypt clash

1 Min Read

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will be missing two key players, Ebenezer Harcourt and Odinaka Okoro, in their third-place showdown against Egypt today (Sunday).

The bronze medal match is set to take place at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.

Harcourt has been sidelined due to an injury he picked up during Nigeria’s 2-1 loss to South Africa in the semi-finals.

The goalkeeper will be replaced by Ajia Yakubu between the sticks for the clash against the Young Pharaohs.

Meanwhile, Okoro is suspended after collecting a yellow card in the same semi-final fixture, making him unavailable for this evening’s match.

Kick-off is scheduled for 4pm Nigerian time.
