Arsenal are reportedly moving quickly to secure Bayer Leverkusen defender, Piero Hincapie, with personal terms already agreed between the player and the club.

According to renowned European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is taking shape ahead of the closing days of the summer window.

Romano shared on X, “Piero Hincapié has said yes to Arsenal and personal terms have been agreed, long-term deal ready! Understand Hincapié favors #AFC and also seen as ideal signing by Arteta. Arsenal prepare opening bid, likely loan + obligation to buy… with Kiwior to FC Porto, soon.”

The move would add to a busy summer for the Gunners, who recently completed the signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, outmaneuvering Tottenham Hotspur in the process.

Other additions this season include Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, and Viktor Gyokeres, helping Mikel Arteta’s side start the Premier League campaign with two wins from two matches.

With the transfer window closing soon, Arsenal are eager to bolster their defense further, and Hincapie is viewed as the perfect fit for Arteta’s plans.
