American R&B singer and actor, Tyrese Darnell Gibson, has showered praise on Nigerian gospel sensation, Grace Idowu Ibukunoluwa, after a video of her heartfelt worship performance went viral.

The compelling clip, which captured Grace delivering a powerful rendition of a gospel track, was shared on Tyrese’s official Instagram page and quickly caught the entertainer’s attention.

Moved by her passion and vocal delivery, Tyrese wrote in the caption, “@gracee_idowu just wow…. I wanna do your whole album!”

Grace, who signed with Brand New Records under Brand New Entertainment in January 2020, was also recognized that same year as one of 30 emerging talents in Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa incubation program.

She released her debut EP, Amazing God, in February 2020, with “Jesus” as the standout lead single.

Tyrese Gibson, hailing from Los Angeles, California, launched his music career in 1998 under RCA Records.

His debut single, “Nobody Else,” broke into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40, paving the way for his self-titled debut album, Tyrese, which achieved platinum status.

The album also included the hit track “Sweet Lady,” further cementing his place in the music industry.

Now, with his sights set on Grace, fans might soon witness a transcontinental gospel-R&B collaboration in the making.
