Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, has vowed that Nigeria will do everything possible to secure a win against Tunisia.
The two teams will clash in their second Group C encounter at the Complexe Sportif de Fès on Saturday.
Tunisia currently lead the group after a 3-1 victory over Uganda, while the Super Eagles edged past Tanzania 2-1 in their opener.
“Just being at the AFCON is motivation enough for us to go out and fight for the victory tomorrow,” Dele-Bashiru told journalists ahead of Friday’s training session. “This is an important game for us, and our aim is to top the group. We will do everything in our power to make that happen.”
On his preferred role in the team, the Lazio star emphasized his adaptability. “Throughout my career, I’ve played in several positions, so I’m quite versatile. I’ll play wherever the coach asks me to and do my best to help the team get the win.”
Dele-Bashiru also stressed the importance of focus and discipline. “We need to approach every game with the same respect and determination, follow the coach’s instructions, and train hard. That’s how we’ll prepare ourselves for the match.”
