Southampton’s interim manager, Tonda Eckert, has praised Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo, following his performance in the Championship clash against Millwall.
The Nigerian international featured off the bench in the weekend encounter, which saw Millwall edge Southampton 3-2.
This marked Aribo’s fifth appearance for the Saints this season since returning from injury.
Speaking to the Daily Echo after the game, Eckert commended Aribo’s impact whenever he enters the field as a substitute.
“I am very happy with Joe.
“He has been excellent every time he has come on, and he is in very good shape.”
