Udinese struck first in spectacular fashion when Kingsley Ehizibue lashed a powerful finish into the roof of the net after a loose ball fell kindly inside the box.

Lazio, buoyed by their Coppa Italia final qualification after eliminating Atalanta on penalties and amid continued fan protests at home games, responded with a moment of brilliance.

The game swung end to end. Udinese threatened again through Arthur Atta and Nicolò Zaniolo, while Lazio had their own frustrations, with efforts blocked and others flashing narrowly wide.

Gustav Isaksen came close, only to be denied by Maduka Okoye, and Tijjani Noslin couldn’t capitalise on the rebound.

Pedro then produced the standout moment of the first half, curling a precise first-time effort into the far top corner after a clever lay-off, putting Lazio ahead with real quality.

Udinese refused to go away. Vakoun Bayo’s header forced a save that fell kindly for Atta to tap in and restore parity.

Moments later, Atta struck again, sweeping home from close range after Zaniolo sparked another dangerous move on the break to put the visitors back in front.

Chances kept coming. Zaniolo himself was denied by a sharp Motta stop and also wasted a gilt-edged opportunity, while Adam Buksa miscued a simple finish that could have extended the lead.

Just when Udinese looked set for victory, Lazio struck late. A header rebounded off the post, and Daniel Maldini reacted quickest to turn in a Pedro cross from close range, timing his run perfectly to beat the defence and snatch a dramatic equaliser.

In the end, both sides were left to settle for a point after a chaotic, entertaining contest full of attacking intent, defensive lapses, and stoppage-time twists.
