Super Eagles and KRC Genk striker, Tolu Arokodare, has earned a spot in the Belgian Pro League Team of the Season.

His inclusion comes following a remarkable season with the Smurfs, where he consistently delivered standout performances.

The prestigious Team of the Season lineup was determined through a blend of Opta’s performance metrics and votes cast by fellow players across the league.

Arokodare’s exploits in front of goal were pivotal for Genk throughout the campaign. The Nigeria international found the back of the net 21 times and registered six assists in 40 league matches.

The 26-year-old’s impressive form saw him claim both the Golden Boot and the Ebony Shoe award, the latter recognizing the best African player in Belgian football.

Joining Arokodare in the front three are Royal Antwerp’s Tjaronn Chery and Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge.

The goalkeeper position is held by Colin Coosemans of Anderlecht, while the defensive quartet includes Zakaria El Ouahdi (Genk), Brandon Mechele (Club Brugge), Kevin Mac Allister (Union Saint-Gilloise), and Maxim De Cuyper (Club Brugge).

In midfield, the selected trio features Noah Sadiki (Union SG), Ardon Jashari (Club Brugge), and Club Brugge captain Hans Vanaken.
