A 50-year-old man, identified simply as Godwin, has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command over the alleged defilement of two underage girls in Ogale, Eleme Local Government Area of the state.

The suspect was apprehended by operatives of the Eleme Police Division following a complaint filed by the parents of the victims, aged 13 and 11.

The father of one of the girls, identified as Cletus, alleged that the suspect would often send the children on errands before inviting them into his room after they returned.
