AS Monaco manager, Adi Hütter, has praised new signing Paul Pogba, describing the French midfielder as highly driven and eager to reignite his career.

Pogba, who previously starred for Manchester United and Juventus, joined Monaco this summer after serving a two-year doping suspension that kept him sidelined from competitive football.

Speaking to Cronache di Spogliatoio, Hütter acknowledged the challenges Pogba has faced, noting:

“We all know how tough it has been, two years without playing is no small thing. But Paul is full of energy, hungry to return, and has set himself big personal targets. He dreams of a national team comeback, and one of his biggest motivations is to prove to his children that he’s still an extraordinary player.”

The coach revealed that Pogba was warmly received by his new teammates and has made an immediate impression with his humility and positive attitude.

“From our first phone conversation, I could feel his determination to join us. That’s exactly the mindset we want, players ready to bounce back and fight. We’re taking his recovery step by step, but he’s on the right track and incredibly motivated. The squad admires him, and we’re delighted to have him here.”
