The Vice-President, Senator Kashim Shettima has met with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.
Shettima and Puttin met on Thursday, July 27, 2023, during a summit in St. Petersburg.
The Nigerian Vice President is representing President Bola Tinubu at the ongoing second Russia-Africa economic and humanitarian forum in Russia.
The summit is focused on strategizing to enhance relations between Russia and the African continent, among other benefits embedded in the event.
However, Shettima will as well be holding bilateral meetings with Russian senior government officials, and business leaders, to discuss relations between Nigeria and the country.
