The Oyo State Government has approved the release of thousands of free tickets to enable young people across the state to attend David Adeleke aka Davido’s “5ive Tour” concert scheduled to hold in Ibadan on Sunday.

The announcement, made on the government’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday, said the gesture is in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts to empower young people and boost the state’s creative and entertainment sector.

The statement read, “In line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and to further support the creative industry, thousands of free tickets have been approved for young people across Oyo State to attend Davido’s ‘5ive Tour’ in Ibadan.”

Ticket distribution will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, November 8, at the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, located within the State Secretariat in Ibadan. Officials noted that the tickets will be issued strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
