Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has hailed Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen as an “elite striker” ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash.
The Citizens will host Galatasaray at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
Osimhen has been in sensational form this season, scoring six goals in five Champions League appearances and six goals in 13 league matches.
Guardiola also acknowledged the overall quality within the Galatasaray squad. He said, “We will try to win tomorrow. Galatasaray are leading the Turkish league and all their players are exceptional.”
“Victor Osimhen is a very elite striker. Osimhen has special players he can connect with.
“Sane is very fast, very agile… Ilkay Gündoğan, Mario Lemina. He has experienced players.”
