One person lost its life in a fatal road crash that occurred on Sunday along the Zuba-Madalla highway, situated in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State.

The collision, which involved a truck and a private car, resulted in a temporary traffic jam on the usually busy route.

However, emergency responders swiftly intervened, clearing the obstruction and restoring normal vehicular movement.

Confirming the tragic incident, the Federal Capital Territory Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Philip Theman, revealed that the accident took place at approximately 2:00 p.m.

“We have on record that one person lost his life in the accident,” Theman stated. “The Emergency Response Team evacuated the corpse and also succeeded in restoring traffic flow shortly after.”

Theman further urged drivers to strictly observe road safety regulations, pointing out that the Zuba-Madalla axis has become notorious for frequent accidents, often caused by the careless behavior of both commercial and private motorists.
