NYSC releases 2025 Batch ‘B’ stream 1 deployment list

NYSC warns foreign varsities against fake mobilisation

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the deployment list for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 prospective corps members.

The announcement was made on Monday, July 28, via the scheme’s official Facebook page and other social media platforms. Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) were urged to visit the NYSC portal to confirm their deployment details and take the necessary next steps ahead of camp resumption.

According to the statement, PCMs are required to download, print, and sign the Addendum—a crucial document to be submitted during registration at the Orientation Camp.

“All prospective corps members are advised to log on to the official NYSC portal to check their state of deployment. It is compulsory to print and sign the Addendum document, which must be submitted at the camp registration point,” the statement read.

The NYSC also issued a safety advisory, cautioning PCMs against traveling at night to their respective camps. The management emphasized the need for vigilance during transit, citing security concerns.

“We strongly advise all PCMs to avoid traveling at night. Your safety is our priority, and we urge you to plan your journey in daylight hours for better security,” the scheme warned.

The NYSC also clarified that not all deployed corps members will carry out their orientation course in the state they were assigned to. Due to capacity constraints, some PCMs posted to Lagos will be hosted in orientation camps across Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun States. Similarly, those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will attend orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna.

“Some PCMs posted to Lagos will have their Orientation Course in camps located in Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun States. Likewise, those posted to the FCT will attend in Nasarawa and Kaduna Camps,” the NYSC stated.

The deployment announcement comes as thousands of Nigerian graduates prepare to embark on their one-year mandatory national service. The orientation course, which marks the beginning of the service year, includes physical training, community development lectures, and social integration exercises.

Prospective corps members have been advised to stay updated by following NYSC’s official communication channels and to strictly adhere to all guidelines for a smooth and safe transition into the program.
