Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Ebosele has welcomed a set of twins with her husband, Kehinde Olasupo, marking a new chapter in their family journey.
The actress announced the good news on Saturday through her Instagram page, sharing heartwarming photos and a video of her husband tenderly holding the newborns.
Expressing her joy and gratitude, Ebosele wrote, “I am the woman whom the Lord has shown great mercy.”
The announcement quickly drew a flood of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry. Many described the development as a double blessing for the couple who tied the knot in July 2017.
Although the actress shared her excitement, she and her husband have chosen to keep details of the twins—such as their names, genders, and date of birth—private for now.
Born in Edo State, Mercy Ebosele began her acting career in secondary school stage plays before joining Nollywood professionally in 2003. Her big break came with the film Ile Olorogun, which paved the way for her to feature in numerous Yoruba movies.
Over the years, she has become a household name in the industry, starring in productions such as Alasela, Adura, Tibitire, Imisi Esu, Soko Soko, and When Tables Turn.
One of her colleagues, reacting to the news, commented, “This is indeed a testimony. Congratulations to Mercy and her family.”
