Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has lost her mother.
The actress broke the news on Tuesday through an Instagram post featuring a candlelight image with a broken heart background. She captioned it simply: “R.I.P Mum.”
The announcement immediately attracted an outpouring of sympathy from her colleagues, fans, and well-wishers across the entertainment industry.
Actress Iyabo Ojo wrote: “So sorry, ore. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Actor Bolanle Ninalowo also shared his condolences, saying: “My condolences, sis.”
Other celebrities, including Dayo Amusa, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Motilola, and Tayo Faniran, also left heartfelt messages under Aigbe’s post. Actress Dayo Amusa wrote: “My sincere condolences, Agbeke.” while Motilola added: “So sorry, Momma. Accept my condolences.”
Controversial crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, also reacted with a short message: “Sorry sis.”
