The church expressed thanks to God Almighty for answering the fervent prayers of the ECWA family and the global Church of Christ, describing the pastor’s release as a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the power of collective prayer.

ECWA also extended appreciation to all brethren who prayed earnestly during the pastor’s ordeal.

While celebrating Rev. Agang’s safe return, the church highlighted that the incident underscores the persistent insecurity plaguing the country.

“The rising wave of kidnapping, which has sadly become a means of livelihood for some, is a threat to our collective existence and must be addressed urgently,” the statement said.
