Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has made a startling revelation about her past, admitting that she was once deeply involved in cult activities and spiritual practices she now calls demonic.
The actress, who has recently embraced Christianity, shared these details while participating in a ministration in Tanzania, opening up about a chapter of her life she had long kept private.
Reflecting on her time in the entertainment industry, Tonto explained that her involvement in movies and public life exposed her to influences that led her down a dark path.
She confessed that she had been actively engaged in “demonic activities,” dedicating a significant portion of her life to what she described as the devil’s work.
“The devil has lost this battle, I don’t care what you think, I don’t care what they say, this is God. In the midst of trying to navigate life in the wicked world that I came from, I had put my hands into so many dirty things. And did filthy things,” Tonto revealed, emphasizing the depth of her past struggles.
She went further to admit that she had formally joined a cult, working diligently in alignment with its secretive and malevolent practices.
“I joined a cult and worked so hard for the demon. I know who he is, and I know that he doesn’t have anything over me anymore,” she said, highlighting both her awareness of the spiritual forces she once served and her eventual rejection of them.
Tonto described the transformative moment that led her back to faith, crediting divine intervention for rescuing her from her past.
“And today, God said no, mercy said no. I’ll take you back and clean you up,” she stated, expressing gratitude for what she believes was a powerful act of redemption and spiritual renewal.
