Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has shut down any possibility of Savio leaving the Etihad this summer, despite mounting interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs, still in search of fresh attacking firepower after unsuccessful moves for Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze, had identified the 21-year-old Brazilian winger as a prime target.
Savio himself was said to be open to a switch to North London in pursuit of more regular minutes.
But according to transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, City have made it clear that no deal will be entertained, regardless of the offer.
“Manchester City have informed Tottenham today that are not changing their position on Savinho.
“MCFC have no intention to let him go, not even for fee over €70m — seen as key player for the season and for future.
“This also blocks any chance of Rodrygo to Man City,” Romano revealed on X.
Guardiola is reportedly convinced that Savio will play a crucial role in the 2025/26 campaign and beyond, underlining the club’s stance that the youngster is untouchable.
