Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly in advanced talks to secure the services of Super Eagles striker, Tolu Arokodare, from Belgian club Genk.
Belgian outlet HLN claims Wolves are prepared to meet a €25 million price tag for the 24-year-old forward, who is expected to leave Genk before the summer transfer window closes.
Arokodare, who finished last season as the Belgian Pro League’s top scorer with 21 goals, has also attracted interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Napoli.
The England-based club reportedly sees Arokodare as a direct replacement for Jørgen Strand-Larsen, who is poised to join Newcastle United in the coming days.
To minimize any injury risk, Genk has excluded Arokodare from their squad for Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Lech Poznan.
