Fulham head coach, Marco Silva, has praised Alex Iwobi’s stunning strike during Sunday’s 2-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Whites had taken the lead earlier through Harry Wilson, who converted after a clever cross from Oscar Bobb.
Iwobi sealed the win in the 34th minute with a spectacular finish. The Nigeria international sidefooted the ball from the edge of the box, sending it powerfully into the net.
Silva described the goal as one of the best he has witnessed from the 29-year-old.
“It’s one of his best goals, he is capable of these types of things. He is stronger when he tries to choose a corner and make a strong pass,” Silva said after the game.
This season, the versatile midfielder has contributed four goals and three assists in 22 league appearances for the Cottagers.
