Several overseas-based talents have boosted the Flying Eagles’ training camp in Abuja as preparations intensify for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Among the early arrivals are Wilfred George and Christian Nwachukwu, who have already linked up with the squad.

More foreign-based players are expected to join the camp on Monday to strengthen the team’s buildup.

Head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, has also listed new Leece signing, Divine Onyemaechi, along with Jonathan Spiff Asuzu, among the players set to feature in the team’s World Cup campaign.

The Flying Eagles, who recently took part in the WAFU B U-20 Boys Cup in Ghana, also finished third at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt earlier this year.

Nigeria will compete in Group F of the World Cup against Colombia, Norway, and Saudi Arabia.

The tournament will take place in Chile from September 27 to October 19.
