CAF and Morocco’s Local Organizing Committee have unveiled the six stadiums that will host matches during the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024, scheduled for 5 to 26 July 2025.
In a significant milestone for the women’s tournament, this edition will utilize more than three venues for the first time, a strong testament to the event’s expanding stature and influence on the continent.
The Confirmed Stadiums Include:
Olympic Stadium (Rabat) – A state-of-the-art 21,000-seater located near the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, also penciled in for the upcoming AFCON 2025.
Larbi Zaouli Stadium (Casablanca) – This venue, which underwent renovations in 2019, currently serves as the temporary home of Moroccan giants Raja and Wydad Casablanca.
Père Jégo Stadium (Casablanca) – A 10,000-capacity arena named after iconic Moroccan coach Père Jégo.
El Bachir Stadium (Mohammédia) – Originally opened in 1954 and upgraded in 2019, it notably staged the U-17 AFCON final.
Honor Stadium (Oujda) – Boasting a 35,000 capacity, this stadium has seen significant international action in recent years.
Berkane Stadium (Berkane) – The 12,000-seat home of RS Berkane, modernized in 2017.
CAF is forecasting unprecedented figures in match attendance, media coverage, and digital interactions, fueled by the rising interest in women’s football and the success of previous tournaments.
