Galatasaray have struck an agreement with Burnley to sign Super Eagles-eligible midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu in a deal valued at just under €30 million.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, confirmed the development on Sunday, revealing that the 22-year-old is set to finalise his move to the Turkish champions in the coming days.
“Here we go, confirmed: Lesley Ugochukwu will sign his contract at Galatasaray shortly.
“Deal worth under €30m package from Burnley for the midfielder,” Romano wrote on X.
Ugochukwu enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 Premier League campaign with Burnley despite the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The Nigerian-born midfielder featured in 35 league matches, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
Once the move is completed, Ugochukwu will link up with Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen at the Istanbul-based club.
