Besiktas reportedly join race to sign S’Eagles’ Osayi-Samuel

Turkish Super Lig powerhouse Besiktas have reportedly thrown their hat into the ring for Nigerian international Bright Osayi-Samuel, intensifying the battle for the defender’s signature.

The Super Eagles star has been attracting attention from several clubs since the winter transfer window, with his contract at Fenerbahce set to expire in June.

His uncertain future has prompted interest from across Europe, with scouts closely watching developments.

Fenerbahce remains eager to retain Osayi-Samuel and is actively negotiating a contract extension.

However, talks have reportedly stalled, with both sides yet to agree on personal terms.

In a decisive move on Saturday, Besiktas presented Osayi-Samuel with a lucrative offer of €2.5 million annually in a bid to convince him to switch allegiances to Vodafone Park.

Adding to the competition, Premier League clubs, most notably Crystal Palace, have also shown interest in the 26-year-old, making the race for his services even more intense.
