Super Eagles forward, Tolu Arokodare, was on fire as he netted a brace to help KRC Genk secure a 4-2 victory over Hannover 96 in a pre-season friendly encounter.
The match saw Oh Hyeon-gyu get things rolling for the Smurfs with the opening goal, while Mujaid Saduckl doubled their advantage.
Arokodare, who was introduced in the second half, came off the bench to put the result beyond doubt.
The 24-year-old found the back of the net in the 95th minute to score Genk’s third, before wrapping things up with another strike in the 112th minute.
Arokodare, a Nigeria international, was the standout performer in the Belgian Pro League last term, finishing as the top scorer with 21 goals and contributing five assists in 40 league games.
His impressive form has sparked transfer interest this summer, with European giants including Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and AC Milan reportedly keeping tabs on the prolific striker.
