Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury clash is one-fight deal, says Boxing promoter

British boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has reaffirmed that the much-anticipated heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is expected to be a single-fight arrangement.

The long-rumoured showdown is finally edging closer after both fighters recently returned to action, with Fury securing a win over Arslanbek Makhmudov while Joshua continues his rebuilding phase in the heavyweight division.

The bout is being targeted for late 2026, most likely November, with both fighters projected to earn in the region of £100 million each from the contest.

Before turning his full attention to the Fury blockbuster, the former world champion and Olympic gold medallist is scheduled to face Albanian heavyweight Kristian Prenga on July 25.

Despite ongoing speculation about a potential rematch clause, Hearn has made it clear the deal is straightforward.

“Yes, [it is a one-fight deal],” he told BBC Sport.
