Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has approved the reinstatement of former chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhuyi Rimingado.
Recall that Muhyi was suspended and later removed from office by former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje after the state assembly said it investigated and uncovered several anomalies against him.
However, Yusuf on Wednesday approved his reinstatement as the chairman of the anti-graft agency and it expected to complete his tenure.
Also his reinstatement is in compliance with the National Industrial Court sitting in Kano.
The court on the 31st of May, 2023 had held that the claimant was consequently wrongfully dismissed and thereby ordered his reinstatement with immediate effect.
