The eldest daughter of Nigerian billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, Ogechukwu Elumelu, has graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Science degree and completed a law conversion course.
Her father announced the academic achievement on his X account on Saturday, celebrating the completion of both programmes as significant milestones in his daughter’s academic journey.
“Oxford MSc Graduation and Law Conversion Completed! Two major milestones. One incredible TOEGirl! Congratulations, Oge. So proud of you!” he wrote.
Elumelu also shared a video capturing a celebratory moment with his daughter following her graduation.
Ogechukwu, also known as Tamara-Marie Oge Elumelu, is the first child of Tony Elumelu and his wife, Dr Awele Elumelu.
She had earlier graduated with honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she studied Politics and Philosophy.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Ogechukwu hosts the podcast Africa & Everywhere: Conversations with Oge, which features conversations with African entrepreneurs, business executives and changemakers.
In 2026, she also organised the Africa & Everywhere Festival in Lagos, a careers and internship fair designed to connect young Nigerians with employment and professional opportunities.
