AFCON Qualifiers: Camara fires Burkina Faso to 1-0 win over CAR

Burkina Faso secured their first victory in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after defeating the Central African Republic 1-0 in Casablanca on Monday.

The Stallions entered the match looking to recover from their 1-1 draw with Benin in Ouagadougou in their opening Group F fixture.

The encounter at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium was tightly contested, with neither side able to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes.

Burkina Faso eventually found the breakthrough in the 60th minute when Aboubacar Camara converted an opportunity to put the Stallions ahead.
