Arteta urges Arsenal courage in UCL final against PSG

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has stressed that his side must combine clarity, courage, and an intense desire to win if they are to make history by securing their first-ever European Cup when they face Paris Saint-Germain in Saturday’s final.

Arteta said the team have already earned their place in the final through their performances, but insisted they must now prove themselves again on the pitch if they want to lift the trophy in European football’s biggest club match, the UEFA Champions League Final.

“We’re focused, positive. We are here because we have the right to be here. Tomorrow on the field, we’re going to have to earn the right to lift the trophy.

“We have the opportunity to write a new chapter, we have to play with a lot of clarity and desire to win. Winning the Champions League would be something new for all of us. It’s tough to write new history at Arsenal, and that’s what we’re aiming for.

“We have won a title, but we want to win more. There always has to be a platform to earn more. I want the players to be confident we can go and do it.

“They want more. After you lift the trophy, you want to reproduce that feeling as many times as possible.
