Nigeria Flamingos will depart for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Wednesday ahead of the first leg of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers fixture against Guinea.
The squad currently has 36 players in camp, with team officials expected to trim the list before departure for the away tie.
The Flamingos, under coach Akeem Busari, resumed their final phase of preparations in Ikenne last week Sunday. As part of their build-up, they recorded a convincing 5–0 win over Lakeside Queens FA in a friendly match last Thursday.
The first leg of the second-round qualifier will take place in Abidjan on Saturday, with Guinea acting as the designated hosts at a temporary venue.
The return leg is scheduled for Saturday, 30 May, at the Remo Stars Stadium, where the Flamingos will seek to complete the tie on home soil.
