Super Eagles stars, Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke, will continue their careers under a new manager at Sevilla following the appointment of Luis García Plaza.
The Spanish club dismissed former head coach Matías Almeyda on Monday, bringing an end to his spell in charge.
Plaza has now been handed the reins at the Rojiblancos, signing a contract that runs until 2027.
“Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with Madrid-born coach Luis García Plaza (01/12/1972), who will take charge of the first team until 2027,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The 53-year-old began his managerial career with Spanish side Unión Deportiva Altea.
His most recent role was at Deportivo Alavés, where he guided the club to promotion to La Liga and later ensured their top-flight status before departing Mendizorroza in December 2024.
