The Jordan Football Association has revealed a new host city for the upcoming four-nation invitational tournament featuring Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Iran, and Costa Rica.
Originally set to take place in Amman, the capital of Jordan, the competition will now be staged in Antalya, Turkey.
The tournament aims to help Jordan and Iran prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“The Jordan Football Association has decided to move the matches of the four-team international friendly tournament, scheduled for March 2026, to be held in the Turkish city of Antalya, due to the current situation in the region and the limited movement of people,” the JFA stated on its official website.
In the opening fixtures, the Super Eagles will take on Iran on Friday, 27 March, while Jordan faces Costa Rica on the same day.
Eric Chelle’s squad will play the hosts Jordan in their second game on Tuesday, 31 March, with Iran meeting Costa Rica in the other match.
