EPL title race not over, Man City’s Haaland warns Arsenal

Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has issued a warning to Arsenal, insisting that the Premier League title race is far from decided.

Haaland, who netted the decisive goal in City’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield, shared his thoughts in an interview with the club’s official website.

His remarks underline that Manchester City’s challenge remains strong despite Arsenal’s current lead.

“Of course, and look at the emotions with the fans in the end, it was amazing. They deserve it, after supporting us, week in, week out, and, yeah, they definitely deserve to win at Anfield,” Haaland said.

“I’ve never won here before, so it’s amazing to come here and be able to win for the first time. As everyone knows, it’s not easy because of the history that City and Liverpool have had for the last decade. There’s also history behind it also. So, of course, it’s a good feeling.

“It’s three points, simple as that, no matter who you play, if it is Tottenham or whatever. But I know what you mean.

“We’ve seen before that the title race is not over until it’s over.”
