Anuoluwapo, alleged daughter of Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly requested a DNA test to formally establish her identity.
The disclosure was made in a heartfelt social media post shared by the teenager on Monday, January 15, 2026.
In her post, Anuoluwapo, who recently became a teenager, reflected on the challenges she has faced growing up.
She revealed that she was bullied at school from the age of six, with classmates ridiculing her because of her father’s fame.
“I went through a lot of mental anguish and even visited a medical professional to protect my mental health,” she wrote.
Despite the difficulties, Anuoluwapo said she excelled academically, becoming the top of her class and later the class prefect.
She expressed gratitude to her mother and grandmother for guiding her in becoming a responsible teen.
As she transitions into young adulthood, Anuoluwapo said she wants to take steps to formally establish her identity.
“I am respectfully asking Mr. David Adeleke, Singer @davido, for a DNA test to establish my identity. This test is between my dad and me. It is something I want. It is the right thing to do. Please, sir, consider my request once you read this post,” she wrote.
Anuoluwapo also thanked Nigerians who have supported her over the years. “Thank you to all Nigerians who have given me emotional support for the last seven years. This DNA test is the right thing to do for me,” she added.
The young teenager shared the letter both on her social media page and directly with her father via direct message.
