Anthony Joshua targets Tyson Fury after Jake Paul KO

British boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has revealed that former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is ready to face Tyson Fury in the ring.

Hearn made the disclosure following Joshua’s sixth-round victory over YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on Saturday.

Although Joshua had to work hard against his far less experienced opponent, his superior size and power ultimately proved decisive in the later rounds of the eight-round contest.

After the fight, Hearn expressed his desire for the highly anticipated bout between Joshua and Fury to take place in 2026.

“We want the Tyson Fury fight. That’s the biggest fight in boxing.

“Respect to Jake Paul, he did a great job. 2026, back to the real business. Tyson Fury and the world heavyweight championship.”

Like Joshua, Fury is a multiple-time heavyweight world champion and fellow Englishman, yet the two have never faced each other inside the ring.
