Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, has returned to the Lazio squad after initially being cut from the Bianclocelesti’s Serie A list following a bicep femoris injury in his right leg sustained during the Derby della Capitale against Roma in September.
The Nigeria international is now fully available for selection, with full-back Elseid Hysaj dropped from the squad to accommodate the former Sheffield Wednesday star.
Lazio deliberated carefully before finalising the decision, especially with the 24-year-old expected to be part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco this December.
Dele-Bashiru, who has also been linked with a possible January move away from the club, has made four league appearances for Maurizio Sarri’s side so far this season.
He is expected to be involved when Lazio face AC Milan in their Serie A clash on Saturday.
