NYSC releases 2025 Batch C deployment details

FG suspends accreditation of degree certificates from Benin Republic, Togo

The National Youth Service Corps has announced the deployment details for its 2025 Batch C prospective corps members, with call-up letters now available for printing.

The NYSC disclosed the update on Monday via its official X handle, confirming that some prospective corps members posted to highly subscribed states such as Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory have been reassigned to orientation camps in neighbouring states.

According to the scheme, limited capacity at orientation camps necessitated the adjustment.

“Some prospective corps members deployed to Lagos have their orientation course in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun and Osun camps,” the NYSC stated.

It added that “those deployed to the FCT will be in Kaduna, Niger and Nasarawa camps.”

The development follows an earlier notice in which the NYSC revealed that camp capacity constraints across the country meant that only about 40 per cent of registered prospective corps members could be accommodated in the upcoming orientation programme.

The scheme also issued a safety advisory to all PCMs.

“Prospective corps members are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp,” the NYSC warned.

It further reminded PCMs to print and sign all required documents ahead of camp, noting that the forms must be presented during registration at the orientation grounds.

Last week, the NYSC released call-up numbers for Batch C, Stream I, while online registration ran from November 4 to November 9 for both locally and foreign-trained graduates.

The mobilisation timetable earlier published by the NYSC shows that physical verification for foreign-trained graduates held from November 9 to 13, while ICT processing took place between November 12 and 15.

Corps-producing institutions were directed to facilitate the printing and distribution of deployment and call-up letters from November 16 to 18, during which PCMs were expected to download their letters from the portal.

The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to adhere strictly to the guidelines for a smooth commencement of the orientation exercise.
