AFC Bournemouth and Scotland winger, Ben Gannon-Doak, is confident that his side can secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
Gannon-Doak joins Steve Clarke’s squad in Turkey for a warm-weather training camp ahead of a crucial qualifying double-header, first away to Greece and then at home against Denmark.
A perfect record in these two matches would see Scotland reach the World Cup Finals for the first time in 28 years.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Gannon-Doak, the Bournemouth winger, expressed his optimism about the team’s chances. “I have no doubt in my mind that we’re going to go (to the World Cup).
“They’ll be looking for a bit of revenge this weekend. Obviously, we’re all aware we weren’t at our best against Greece, but we still won, which is a sign of a good side.
“We’re all just relaxed. When we get closer to time, we’ll focus up and we’ll go out and get the job done.”
