NYSC releases Batch C call-up numbers

NYSC warns foreign varsities against fake mobilisation

The National Youth Service Corps has announced that call-up numbers for prospective corps members in the 2025 Batch C stream have now been released.

The announcement was made on Tuesday via the scheme’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle. According to the NYSC, the release is based on the order in which applicants completed their registration.

“We are pleased to inform all Prospective Corps Members for the 2025 Batch C that call-up numbers have been generated and released,” the statement read.

However, the management noted that limited accommodation capacity across orientation camps nationwide means that only a portion of those who registered will be mobilised for the current batch.

“Due to camp capacity constraints across the 36 states and the FCT, only about 40% of registered PCMs can be admitted for the forthcoming orientation exercise,” the scheme explained.

Those who are unable to secure a slot will not be left out, as the NYSC stated that they will be automatically moved to the next mobilisation round.

“Prospective Corps Members who are not accommodated in Batch C will be shifted to the next batch, which will commence shortly after the completion of the current exercise,” the management assured.

The NYSC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring an orderly and smooth service year for all participants.

“Management remains committed to delivering a seamless orientation programme and service year experience for every corps member,” the statement added.

Online registration for Batch C opened on November 4 and closed on November 9 for both foreign-trained and home-trained graduates.

The scheme also outlined its mobilisation activities, including physical verification for foreign-trained graduates between November 9 and 13, and ICT processing from November 12 to 15.

Corps-producing institutions will oversee the distribution and printing of deployment and call-up letters from November 16 to 18.
